Please give us a brief introduction to yourself and share a bit about your career background

In my 50s, I was discovered by chance. After carefully thinking it through and discussing it with my loved ones, I leapt and said yes. I've been lucky to meet inspiring, positive, and supportive individuals during my time as a model. There is also a trend towards more mature models and greater diversity, which I find positive.

What were the main factors that led you to think about transitioning into a modelling career later in life?

Curiosity and a willingness to explore new paths and opportunities. Also, I have a genuine interest in fashion and connecting with people. Being a small part of an ever-changing and diverse industry is exciting and challenging.

Starting a new career, particularly in an industry like modelling, can bring up doubts and fears. How did you handle or overcome these uncertainties?

Age and life experience have given me more confidence, along with the support and encouragement from family and friends. Just be yourself - you're there for a reason, so enjoy every moment, as you never know how long it will last.

Your journey can serve as an inspiration to others who are considering major career shifts later in life. What advice would you give to individuals held back by fears of age or unconventional choices?

First and foremost, age is just a number! Stay true to yourself and your desires. And once you've made the decision - whether independently or with the help of others - take that step without hesitation. Life is happening right now!

Your experiences must have taught you a lot about adapting to change. How has your transition into a modelling career influenced your perspective on embracing change?

I've always had a fondness for experiencing new things, places, and even changes to some extent. As a child, I frequently rearranged my room - a habit that surprisingly stuck with me! Having been given a chance in this industry, I'm eagerly looking forward to it with a sense of joy and humility. Something fresh is always unfolding - meeting new people and exploring new places - so stay open-minded and positive! Focus on the possibilities rather than the challenges.
